Where to find your size of glasses?
The ideal is to use an old pair of glasses that fit you well as a reference.
If you don't have a pair of glasses that fit you comfortably, you can try on the glasses of friends and family, cleaning them very well before trying them on and not opening your eyes if they are prescription glasses.
Finding the glasses that fit you well, look at the measurements shown inside one of the two temples, are they yours, or are they very similar to yours!
Glasses sizes, what do they mean?
Sunglasses, eyeglasses, what do the numbers that we find inside the temples mean?
We usually find a series of numbers similar to these:
50 - 21 - 145
The first number (in our example it is 50) indicates the width of the lens: the horizontal diameter of the lens at its widest point. It is also called caliber.
The second number (in our example it is 21) indicates the width of the bridge: the bridge is the part of the frame that rests on the nose and joins the two lenses together. The standard sizes vary from 14mm in children up to about 24mm in adults with large faces.
The third number (in our example it is 145) indicates the length of the shaft, which holds the glasses firmly to the face by resting on the ears. Standard rod sizes range from 135 to 145mm.
Glasses Size Guide
To find the right size of the glasses you want to buy, you can rely on this quick and intuitive guide. Each face size corresponds to the respective measurements relating to the width of the lens.
When ordering, in the product sheet of an item, just check the "MEASURE" item and compare if the numerical value indicated is compatible with the shape of your face.
The item "MEASURE" corresponds to the CALIBER (simply the width of the lens), a technical value that measures the horizontal diameter of the lens at its widest point. Easy, right !?
Once you understand what your perfect measurements are, visit our section dedicated to sunglasses and shop with confidence.
* The measurements refer to a standard credit card with dimensions of 85.60 mm X 53.98 mm.
